Vision Board 2025: A Fresh Start for the New Year

As 2025 began, the Church of God in New Windsor, NY hosted a creative vision board event to kick off the year. Over 30 people—neighbors, friends, families, and community members—came together to share their goals and dreams for the year ahead.

Each table was equipped with magazines, scissors, glue, markers, and other creative materials. Participants jumped right into the activity, cutting out images and words that reflected their goals for 2025. There was a wide range of visions, including personal growth, health, travel, faith, and improved time management. The room was filled with hopeful conversations, as well as delicious hot chocolate, matcha lattes, and pastries.

“The energy here today is great,” said one guest. “Starting the new year surrounded by positive people really sets the tone for what’s to come. It feels good to be part of a community working toward a brighter future.”

Aligning Vision with Faith

The event included a brief seminar that shared stories about well-known visionaries like Jim Carrey, Steve Jobs, and Nelson Mandela. These people proved that with a strong vision and effort, any goal can be achieved. Their stories inspired everyone to believe that vision and dedication can make dreams a reality.

The seminar also explained the spiritual vision of the prophets and forefathers of faith. Guests were reminded to set their hearts not only on physical goals but also spiritual ones, like growing their faith and doing good deeds to honor God.

“I’m really thankful for today,” said Nicole Rosales, a member who attended with her family. “It helped me remember to set spiritual goals, too. I’m excited to see how my vision unfolds in 2025.”
