
Brooklyn Tree Stewardship
About 30 Church of God volunteers arranged a tree stewardship volunteer activity in preparation of spring. They prepared 20 trees to reach maturity.

About 30 Church of God volunteers arranged a tree stewardship volunteer activity in preparation of spring. They prepared 20 trees to reach maturity.
More than 45 Church of God volunteers joined the Partnership for Parks to beautify Rosemary’s Playground, which had not been renovated in 20 years.
Church of God members supported the first Queens Book Festival, which was considered the “largest and most inclusive literary gathering in Queens.”
Volunteers beautified Plum Point Park in New Windsor, refurbishing picnic tables and sign posts, brightening up the scenery for Orange County residents and families who spend time at the park.
As part of the Church of God’s environmental protection initiative, more than 50 volunteers attended a cleanup at Jamaica Bay in Queens in April 2015.
Church of God volunteers cleaned up Spring Creek Park in Howard Beach, removing over seven tons of litter and debris.
Church of God volunteers take care of the world God has given to all creation by organizing cleanups and plantings. In addition to protecting the environment though these activities, they also raise awareness and educate the community about current environmental issues through forums and tabling events.
One way to share love is to donate blood. The Church of God hosts these life-saving events to better equip blood banks and hospitals to save patients in desperate need of blood transfusions. With just one donation, you can save up to three lives!
No one knows when or in what form disaster will strike. However, many Church of God volunteers have been trained in emergency preparedness. Volunteers do their best to assist the community when help is needed most.
Sometimes, a smile is all you need to brighten up your day. Through various social welfare events and activities that support the community at large, volunteers hope to inspire a sense of joy and love.
The World Mission Society Church of God partners with local and national government offices and officials to further the work done in communities where the Church of God is located.
