New York State Assembly Honors Church of God for 60 Years of Volunteer Service

The New York State Assembly recognized the World Mission Society Church of God with a special resolution, celebrating its 60th anniversary and its dedication to volunteer service worldwide.

During a session at the New York State Capitol in Albany, Assemblyman Nader Sayegh presented the resolution, acknowledging the Church’s efforts in environmental protection, disaster relief, education, and community wellbeing.

To highlight their impact, volunteers set up informational panels displaying past community service activities, including cleanups, blood drives, educational programs, and disaster relief efforts. Volunteers from ASEZ, ASEZ WAO, and ASEZ STAR attended to showcase the Church’s extensive volunteer initiatives throughout New York. These displays provided lawmakers and attendees with a deeper understanding of the Church’s mission to spread goodwill and promote unity through service.

The event also created valuable opportunities for future collaboration. Volunteers engaged with state representatives to discuss potential partnerships for upcoming community projects, reinforcing the Church’s commitment to serving local neighborhoods.

The World Mission Society Church of God has led thousands of volunteer activities in New York and across the globe, aiming to instill the spirit of selfless service and unity. Receiving this resolution on the New York State Assembly floor highlights the Church’s long-standing dedication to making a positive impact on society.

As the Church celebrates 60 years of faith and service, it remains committed to its mission: sharing Mother’s love with the world through acts of kindness and compassion.
