2018 Mega Blood Drive for the Passover

The Church of God in New Windsor held a blood drive in conjunction with the 2018 Mega Blood Drive for the Passover. Along the East Coast, 12 Church of God locations held blood drives for three consecutive Sundays in April.
Rochester Adopt-a-Hydrant Cleanup

Members removed snow, ice and other debris from the areas around fire hydrants on Exchange Boulevard in Rochester to make them easily accessible for firefighters. To honor the volunteer effort, Mayor Lovely Warren declared March 11, 2018 to be World Mission Society Church of God Day in Rochester, NY.
“Mother’s Street” Cleanup Movement

“Mother’s Street” was carried out in several New York regions. The movement took place in 175 countries and 6,000 regions simultaneously.
Puerto Rico Disaster Relief Drive

Volunteers of the Churches of God in New York hosted a disaster relief drive in response to Hurricane Maria effects in Puerto Rico.
Mother’s Day Brunch 2017

Mothers had a memorable day with their sons and daughters at the 2017 Mother’s Day Brunch. They were greatly moved by a tribute video made by the members to honor their mothers.

The Church of God hosted a special event to honor fathers. Dads enjoyed quality time with their families, played ping pong and ate from the burger bar.
Lower Falls Cleanup

About 50 Church of God volunteers beautified Maplewood Park and Rose Garden around Lower Falls by picking up trash and unsafe debris.
Beautifying Rosemary’s Playground

More than 45 Church of God volunteers joined the Partnership for Parks to beautify Rosemary’s Playground, which had not been renovated in 20 years.
Brooklyn Tree Stewardship

About 30 Church of God volunteers arranged a tree stewardship volunteer activity in preparation of spring. They prepared 20 trees to reach maturity.
